It's a long way to the shop if you want a sausage roll, but it's worth the trip!
G'day, and welcome to the Birdsville Bakery, Licensed Hard Road Cafe and John Murray Art Gallery. We trade 7 days a week from Easter through to Mid October. Offering Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. With the exception of shortcrust pastry shells for our sweets cabinet, everything is prepared on site. An award for excellence speaks out our desire to produce and sell quality products.
The Birdsville Bakery is sponsoring the 2012 Betoota Cup. The Betoota Races is first race meeting in the Simpson Desert Racing Carnival, being held on Friday 24th, and Saturday 25th of August. The following weekend the famous Birdsville Races are held with the Bedourie Races the third weekend in the carnival.
We have extensive mobile catering facilities which has enabled us to cater for up to 360 offsite.
